Emma Rose Thrasher grew up a voracious reader who devoured books of all kinds, especially fantasy. Stories shaped her understanding of what the world was and how she fit into it. Her favorite books were the ones written by Christians that were fun and well-written but still felt emotionally truthful.
Now, she writes consciously Christian speculative fiction that doesn't sacrifice quality for message in the hopes that her books might one day be like the ones that shaped her. She loves interesting themes and taking part in the Great Conversation that is art. She dabbles in songwriting, gardening, and political science, all of which inform her fiction. She will graduate from Covenant College with a writing degree in May 2027.
